Smile Re: 1st Painted Bumper I've Seen

Hey their Guys,

I am almost willing to bet that they were going for a Chrome look. If you go to the Auto Parts Store and check out the spray paint they usually have some cans of a kind of spray paint chrome, and so on, which when sprayed looks more like a silverish grayish color. Not very appealing to the eye unfortunately. The only company I know of that actually has a paint that does look close to chrome is the ALSA Corp with their ChromeFX Paint which is the stuff they use to paint those Chrome painted cars. They also offer it in a spray can form, but not sure how well that covers from a rattle can over a regular spray gun, or mini jet. Pretty cool stuff though, and not only good for a chrome finish, but you can also shoot candy paint over it for a kind of cool anodized metal look Here is a Link to the page to show you guys what it looks like. Here is a small pic of the Candy Paint over Chrome looks like.

Here is the spray cans. A little expensive, but its the real deal on chrome paint.

Alsa Corp | ChromeFX: Product Information-Our Chrome FX can produce a real METALLIC FINISH on any surface

Anyways, that is my guess on the bumper paint.

Go easy, and I'll catch yall later.
