Is this normal with ceramic pads?

When you returnj to the place that did the work, ask them how they "bedded" the brakes. I have read that ceramic brakes are more fussy about bedding. I can't say one way or t'other, since I am using my first set of ceramics (and I don't like them.)
Bedding brakes requires making several abrupt stops from about 60 MPH to about 10 MPH, but not to a full stop. Some ceramic brake instructions call for four repeated stops.
I can truthfully say that brakes take a while to break in, and that the bedding really helps.
Does the whine happen all the time? Does it only whine when you are using the brakes? Does the whine go away when you give the brakes more pressure? (That can indicate that the pads are vibrating and might benefit from pad adhesive that sticks them to the caliper.) Was the previous set of brakes ceramic?
