"Tech" dude - talk about the "anti" handle for you....... Yes counter clockwise is correct - drive the PT and get it good and hot over to a quality tool store to buy a name brand 6 sided socket - get the correct size.
If all else fails, you may need to apply a more heat from a heat gun (aka hair-dryer).
You taught me something though - I did not know they built diesel PT's... What country are you from????
Certainly not America - the "anti" diesel.
