The wires should be fine , I use MSD wires on almost everything I have when replacement time comes. Kinda pricey but cheaper in the long run...
Can't agree with barely being adequate. Though the stock plug wires are crap I'm running 350 hp on the stock electrical components and know people who are running well over 400 hp. A lot of people think they can go with the Screamin Demon or MSD coil and get better performance, but that isn't so. In fact, aftermarket coils seem to crack, melt or plain just quit working on these cars. Not all are going to suffer this malady, but a lot will.
