Im 35 and all my friends were saying that the PT was for older people. I worked at a dealership when they were intro'd and all the marketing brochures had the target market between 25 and 40 y/o. But they were in such demand, who could afford to pay near $10K over sticker and thats what was happening. Same effect as on the New Beetle, Mini Cooper, '05 Mustang and now the Camaro and Challenger.
But i do see more people my age and younger grabbing PTs, prolly for the same reason i did: Its a lot of car for the money, and doesnt look like an appliance. But the turbo, manual, and leather interior were the must haves for me.

'00 Jeep Wrangler Sport: 2" BDS lift and swaybar disconnects, 32" BFG a/t's on Eagle 10-hole wheels. Fabtech front bumper, K&N cold air intake.
'03 PT Cruiser GT 5spd: removed muffler and airbox silencer future planned mods are K&N typhoon intake, 2" rear lowering springs, hopefully some kind of old skool mag style wheels, and possibly at least a stage 1 turbo upgrade. Oh and i GOTTA get rid of those $#@!'in flame decals!
