We have a 2005 GT convertible. All has been well until recently when it began leaking during heavy rain (or at a carwash)

. The left rear footwell gets quite a bit of water in it, not standing, but the carpet is definitely squishy. The top and all the window seals appear to be in good condition, I don't think that is where the leak is coming from. Judging by the quantity of water, I suspect that water that runs down the side rear window and down the side of the top is somehow leaking into the car.
Is there a drain hose that catches the water that runs down from the top and into the space behind the sheet metal? If not a drain hose, where does that water go? Are there shields or other parts that keep that water out of the interior? I'm suspicious that's where the water is coming from. Any drain holes in the body, underneath, that could get plugged?
