Hey PT Cruiser people,

I've had a few questions before, and you guys have been GREAT to answer them, and I appreciate it a lot. I am back with another question. Let me go ahead and explain the situation.

In Missouri, certain cars (includes the PT) must pass two inspections. It's about to be my time to have the car inspected again. Since last year, I have added the "burp-free shift mod" which involves cutting a wire from the harness. I have noticed since doing that mod, a scanner indicates two pending error codes, P1793 Pending (TRD link communication error) and P0700 Pending (Transmission Control System MIL Request). I taped the ends of the wires, so I can re-assemble the wire if need be to pass the tests.

My question is: Will my car pass both inspections with these codes? I know that if the PCM throws certain codes, it will not pass inspection. I thought those were exhaust, cat converter, and emissions codes. I don't know about Tranny codes, though.

If anyone has an answer to this that would be great!!!!
