"The P1793 is unrelated to the shift concerns you are experiencing.
Several hunder burp-free shift mods have been done without a hiccup.
However, to satisfy your tech and the diagnostic flowcharts, I suggest you re-connect the yellow wire to prove that it make no difference.
Have the codes cleared when you connect the yellow wire and start the testing from a stock baseline.
The P1793 will only show up with a professional scanner set to read the transmission control module data.
P0700 is a generic engine code telling the tech to look in the TCM for tranny codes.
Since neither code presents an emission failure, the check engine lamp will not light."
