Default Re: brake drum noise?

Applying grease to brake parts!? Better use it sparingly and away from the shoe braking surfaces.

This raises more questions in my mind.........

Is the rubbing sound as it rolls round and round? Or as the brakes go in and out with pressure?

Did you have the drums turned or replaced 9 months ago when it got new brakes?

Was that a DYI job or pro done?

When you replaced the drum, did you also replace the shoes?

Was this a DYI job or pro done?

At any rate - brakes are too important to be half-way done. I suggest taking it to a qualified shop.
