I downloaded the service manual pdf and hunted eagerly for the wire. I found the culprit and checked it against a neon. Turns out to be a fuseable link/wire that goes from the alternator to the starter. I would have had pics sooner, but this is a side job. So, its limited to a few hours in a week(if that). Thanks for offering though, very much appreciate it!
