I wont be buying another Chrysler after this PT though--it is a one shot for me, as I have no love for Chrysler--or any American manufacturer.

That brings up an interesting point for me. While I am a Chrysler fan, there are actions of theirs of which I am not a fan. I had a Wrangler that was stolen and had fully intended to replace it with another, but the reduction of warranty and the redesign made my wife and I reconsider that selection. We instead bought a Nissan Xterra. My wife has loved it and I fully intended to buy another Nissan when the time came. Instead, I bought the PT Cruiser. Part of the reason is that I do like Chrysler and believe they make good cars, but the overriding factor is that I like the PT and it works better for me than anything else on the road right now, however, on principle, I want to by a Ford (no flaming, please

), but admittedly, if I had to replace the PT today, it would be with another PT.
So, I would ask this: Would you buy another PT if it continued to meet your needs or would other factors not directly related to a particular model persuade you to buy a vehicle from a different manufacturer?
Thanks!
