Less than 3 miles a day? It doesn't even get a chance to warm up. The 02 sensors don't come into play. The IAC/computer controls are dumping as much fuel into the throttle body as possible to keep the cold intake air and fuel in the proper mixture. Probably the worse scenario possible to try and get good fuel mileage.
