I don't want to get into a turbo war with you here, I have ordered custom rod length wastegates for years in custom fab canisters as well as extended threaded rod canisters myself with turnbuckles.

And don't assume I do not know or have not researched; 20 years of building cars, having a speed shop and building quite a few turbo setups should lend me some credence here. If you don't know, don't insert random words - research.
