Your first sentence says it all, you being 19 and everything is about your wants.
I have been a PRE- EMT in my past life in Michigan. We (I) have had to pick up broken bodies of motorcycle drivers. I know MSP officers who have had to inform parents of the serious injury or death of their child. You see, parents are supposed to die BEFORE their children. Please think this over, as what ever your insurance doesn't cover, your parents, out of love, will wind up paying. IMHO this is NOT a smart move.
