Still happy (for the moment
) with the six disc in dash factory head unit so I'm keeping it for the time being. This will be my first time hooking in an amp with a head unit that doesn't have the remote connection (at least I don't think the factory unit does). I'm putting in a Sony amp and just wondering where I should be hooking the remote lead. I saw in an article on PTDIY (
http://www.ptdoityourself.net/ptsubaltguide.html) the fella seemed to have hooked it through the power plug in the trunk but he may have been talking about just the main power lead. And mines pulling a bit more than the 30w internal amp he had in the Kenwood he was installing so I'm not too sure it'd hold.
Anyhow, I'm a bit lost so if anyone has had to make the same adjustment or just knows off hand please fill me in on what ya did!
