I did it all at once so I cannot say which helped more, but doing it all is the way to go. I am also replacing the tube from the turbo up to get rid of the silencer built into that. It chokes the tube down considerably. I am having a silicone 90 degree reducer made to go from the 2.5 inch turbo inlet and then put a 3 inch tube up from the turbo to the air box. They are being made in black and I am going to paint the aluminium tubing black to keep a close-to-stock apprearance.
