Head gasket problems?
Get intouch with a good speed shop and check out options like,
1 Good quality head gasket, Felpro for one. I used to run a 355 chevy at 16-1 compression on alky,Felpro was the best
2 O-ring the head
or any better idea, also need to consider head bolts, are you going to need a larger fuel supply line.
If you don'thave one now, an exhaust gas temp guage, pyrometer.
Keep EGT around 1500, Pistons start to melt at around 1600,
Also bottom end, rods come to mind. as long as everything goes right, rods are probally ok, but get detonation and who knows? I unfortuneatly don't know the 2.4 well enough to know all the details, I am just thinking back to when I used to run the Chevy as basics.
Look up Bob Stockum, from what I have read, he seems VERY knowledgeable with HIGH performance PTs'
