I would concur with Kirby's comments regarding the pulley. Perhaps hop over to the SRT forum and inquire about longevity.

Regarding the exhaust system, I went to a local muffler shop and asked his opinion. He stated that he had had good success using a glass pack originally designed for the Camaro on the local Neons. Ran a downtube to the glasspack, then "Y'd" the setup at the axle to get a great-looking/sounding dual system. The exhaust system AND installing a hidden hitch cost $258 (I've posted pics of the dual system elsewhere on the links).

Don't know yet about performance--I'm modifying the car but still babying it--only have 1K miles on it. I have a Stage I on order--when I install that, I will change to synthetics (oil, transmission fluid) and do some times to see what kinds of gains have been made.
BTW, HIGHLY recommend AMX's intake (and customer service).
