From what I read, the under $4000.00 was all that was committed to.
But, reading between the lines, and from what is supposed to be included, I would think it would be quite a bit less than that. I think Mopar and PVO are still reeling about the fallout that they have recieved on their past introductions. I am not saying that the fallout was un-warranted (excuse the PUN). I feel that their marketing department looked at the cost of changing the turbo and adding the injectors and other components and decided they could put out a more competitive enhancement that concentrated more on electromnics and programming.
The number of PT GTs and SRT-4s sold as a percentage of all DCX 2003 sales would place a real incentive on Team PVO to develop upgrades that Mopar Performance could market with a high degree of saturation to the intended audience. The only way they can do this is to keep the pricing affordable.
I will go out on a limb and guess that the upgrade (minus the optional Cat-Back setup) would retail for less than $1200.00, with a street price of $899.00 to $999.00..
This is a wild guess, and not based on any inside knowledge.
