Thanks for the advice guys. I rarely drop the clutch, choosing instead to slip the clutch while launching at 2000 rpm. The problem is the friggin tires tend to break loose before I power shift. Once the break loose, its wheel-hop city until I back off, and then it's all over. My Firehawk SZ50's are infinitely better than the stock Goodyears, but until I solve the wheel hop, my "street sweeping" action is going to be limited.
Looks like it's time for me to start thinking about fabricating solid mounts for the engine and tranny.
