Oil filter is in a same level as bottom oil pan. So is there like valve that stops oil from oil pan coming out of the filter hole. I am going to take out the filter and find out.

I love to replace both oil and filter, but with lot of talk about factory oil containing additives to assist in proper break-in, I want to leave the original oil in till at least 3000km. I personally do not believe everything I hear about proper break-in procedures, but with most people changing first oil and filter at 5 to 6000km, changing filter at 1200km ( also have big magnet on the filter to contain most of metal fillings inside the filter) and changing oil and filter at 3000km will be more than enough. At 6000km, another oil and filter change, and change every 4000km till 15000km. Than, switch over to Mobil 1.
