I have to jump in on this thread. Many companies are making dressings with solvent base material. It does shine, but it also DESTROYS YOUR RUBBER. I have used dozens of dressings, including the black magic, which happens to be solvent based. I bring a bottle of BM with me in my detail clinics, and demonstrate what solvent does to your tires, and finish. The best product you can use with the best results is a water based dressing. That us why I developed Ultimate dressing which comes from a professional chemical company. I use it on engines, rubber seals, tires, dash (it has UV protection) wheel wells, the list goes on and on. It is by far the best product on the market. Which is why I went with it. Crewzin is correct, you don';t need to strip the tires, but you should always clean well with a stiff brissel brush with soap and water anyway. jforce, you should try rubberized paint in your wells, I did it and everyone that sees it can't believe how it looks. Next step, spray a little wd40 in there, that will help repel the dirt, and keep them nicer longer, just a little detail trick Gary
