[8D]I knew I was going with a scoop with my 03 GT and decided on a Lund (no $$ for a good hood) so I researched scoops and how they work. If you're not ready to cut the hood don't, it's the hardest thing I've ever done!! I cut the scoop holes with my trusty dremel, glued household screen (Home Depot) over the holes, inside and over the hole in the hood. A 3" hole center. Then attached with epoxy an aluminum dryer duct (gives it a L shape) with more screening on the end on the underside. Then attached a small length of aluminum dryer hose (crushed to an oval shape) to the air box. originally it went to the stock air box by inverting the fender tube to face up instead of down into the fender. Now it goes directly into my sealed custom plexiglass cold air intake and box.
