My understanding of the system is there are (2) O2 sensors, one in the cat and one upstream of the cat and the PCM looks at both inputs to insure that the cat is performing properly. It will probably be necessary to fool the sensor that went into the cat even if there is an insert point in the downpipe replacing the cat. Thats my $ .02 [:I]
