If you get a chance and have the intruments to take some real-world temp measuements I would like to see it. I read recently a study done in Australia on this concept and the results were okay but not what was expected. The problem was that the intercooler acted as a heat-sink. Unless they ran the sprayer all the time it didn't help them in everyday driving. They had it hooked up to a switch at the go pedal and when they got into it with boost it would spray, but by the time the temp dropped (it took a while for the metal comprising the intercooler to cool and pass this to the charge air in the intercooler) it was already over as far as the need for boost. Unless they turned the sprayer on and left if run all the time to keep the temp down it was not effective. Of course they ran out of water in short order running the sprayer all the time.
