Looking at Stage I kit and was wondering about the BOV conversion at the same time. Good Idea? Is it needed for increased performance? I think I understand that this is just a venting thing. Release is now back to the intake, with the BOV it is released to outside. Was wondering where outside is? What effect does it have to the area it is released to with the BOV? Dirt, heat, etc. Is it really loud? Really like the PT for ride and quite, almost as much as the power, almost. The kit I see is a triangle blue plate with gasket, is this what I want? $69.00 is price. Have a FM coming, hate to blow the money but really think it is the best investment I can make with wanting mods and wanting to do them myself. It was the first thing I bought when I got my sportster, and 1200 miles later I had the top end off, new pistons and cams, polished my combustion chamber and exhaust ports, and living with the FM night and day for a week or so.
The same reason I am resisting an Intake, put a K&N drop in as soon as I took the car off the lot, but again do not want the sound of the intake. Will run to Wall Mart today and look for water collectors to put them on the PVC side and valve cover to intake side, and remove the white block then to let it breath a little better, know (heard)there are three, so need to find the other two, will search the fourms.
Anyway tanks to the list I have learned much in a week or so, got my stealer to put the rear sway bar that was "missing" on at no cost thanks to you guys. And I enjoy seeing all the mods guys are doing.
Got BTG exhaust in the mail.
Will order the BOV and Stage I Monday.
Any help, suggestions are very much wanted right now.

Factory BOV sucks. It's a recirculating one and not good for the turbo. A good BOV stops turbo lag. Mopar BOV is the one you want. It is much better for your turbo. I have a HKS BOV which is better than the Mopar one, but would be too loud for you.....If you ever go to synthetic oil DO NOT use the water collectors as there is a warning sticker not to use it with synthetic oil because there might be an explosion. I use synthetic oil and have a GReddy oil catch can for the pcv line.....I have the BTG axle back exhaust and I don't think it is too loud for me. The Dynomax muffler I had on before was much louder.
