I have no problems with drivability.
No lagging here.
I frequently challenge my son with his 2002 Mazda Protege to a friendly fast driving challenge. responsibly of course
I have a AIR FORCE 1 cold air intake, duo exhaust without a header/muffler, just resonators.
Maybe it time to have the car looked at.
