Brand New Car - What Should I Do From the Start

What should one do right from the start? Wax, sealer, professional finish protector applied??? What do you suggest?
I'm getting my GT replaced by Chrysler (Lemon Law, that's another story) and I want to keep it looking new. I would appreciate your advise.
