Grandgrandpa, keeps everything in the front end properly aligned because it virtually eliminates flexing. Now, in some cars there is so much ruber bushings and such things that the more rigid front end does very little. From what I can tell the front tower brace seems to work on our car at least moderately well! For instance my 87 Mustang GT ragtop felt at least 200% better with the brace installed but my daughters Saturn was just marginally better with them.
