To put this to rest.... If you take the price difference between a stock Viper and STi, and put into mods for the STi; it is undeniable that the STi will KILL it. However, by the same merit... if you bought a '92 civic hatch (i know, i know) and put the difference in it, you would have a car easily breaking 10's. So to say if you mod this and that, this will kill that is pointless. A rustbucket civic could pull up and embarass EVERYONE. The point is how you wanna get there. A viper is a ballsout sports car that performs well. An STi is more of a tuner car that has great potential and is a phenomenal car for it's price range. Granted it may not be the fastest thing on the planet, but is sure one of if not the fastest car in it's price range. Bang for the buck dictates the STi... this is undeniable; bang in the BALLS dictates the Viper. But with the way gas is going now, i'll take the STi
