The export model, as some of us now know, has different wiring than shown in the Haynes manual. I contacted Haynes and they were really helpful.
I have attached a few pictures of the wiring wrt lighting.
I hope this will help others who, like me, were confounded with incorrect diagrams.
If anyone else finds other useful differences please post.
