I have found our A/C to be fairly in-efficient. Luckily I live in Oregon and A/C is only needed about 1 month out of the year (90 degrees or above). My 1989 Ford P.U. will out cool my 03 GT twice as fast and a number of degrees cooler, in-fact if I have my A/C on high (in the GT) and am sitting in the sun...it's still uncomfortably warm.
