Fellow had an excellent seat to the superbowl. Seated next to him was an elderly gent, and then, an empty seat. Just before kick-off, the fellow mentioned to the elderly gent that it was unusual that a seat would go unused - the elderly gent replied it was his wife's, and she had recently passed away.
The fellow expressed condolences, but then asked that surely some friend or relative would've jumped at the chance if offered the seat - the old gent replied "Nope, they're all at the funeral".
