Triple,
I mention this only because it isn't old news to the NEW OWNERS. We have people with a vested interest in selling unwarranted parts that potentially could affect warranty, speaking as if they were just your neighbor.
Are you familiar with the carnival shell game where the SHILL comes up and magically is a winner every time, only to draw in the unsuspecting rube with the expressed purpose of taking his money?
The old hat members ARE tired of this, me too, but I get started again when Chrysler dealers or DCX employees post on this site with the "don't worry" scenario when each and every time the warranty issue is spun as "an old and tired thing" or gets brushed off as "unimportant".
The information and emphasis is important when the NEW buyers, by sheer volume of postings begin to believe that the written notices of "TOTALLY WITHOUT WARRANTY" are just a legalese piece of wrapping garbage.
I do vote Republican when I can trust the guy...as far as Medicare is concerned, you and I will probably have to move to Iraq to ever see any benefits!
