I did it at the same time as the springs since I had everything apart. I thought about doing things one at a time so I could judge the results. So much for that.
The ride is a bit stiffer with the springs. Handling is greatly improved as expected. I took it for a test drive and it feels like a completely different car. Hardly any lean in the corners. One thing I also noticed was when I romped on it, the torque steer seemed less. This is one thing that I wanted since this is my first front wheel drive car.
This is as far as I am going to go with the suspension for now. I may replace the struts in a few years if these last that long.
Also, I can definately tell that tires play a BIG part in handling. I took a 20MPH on ramp at 40 and I could feel the tires starting to let go. The car handled great, the tires were the problem.
All for now. I'm tired from working on the car for 4 hours today.
