The most important thing is to have the correct tools. You can accomplish this job with a good metric socket set and a 6" extension. You will also need a metric allen wrench and a few open end wrenches.

The part came with very good instructions. The tools needed are listed so you can get them before you do the install. Another word of advice is to always have someone more experiencd who you can call for a needed tool or help.

I was a mechanic for 20 years and I have all the tools. I would rate the install as moderately difficult on a GT since the nuts holding everything together are rather difficult to get to. Things are pretty tight on the RH side with the cruise control and solenoids and the brackets to hold them. It is however a job that can be done by the average person with the correct tools (NO CRESCENT WRENCHES OR PLIERS!!!)
