So I got to thinkin about the tail lights, and since i hear so many horror stories about the APC kits I wonder if its possible to make my own out of fiberglass. basicly just use the stock covers as a mold and then do whatever pattern i want for the cut outs for the lenses. I figure that way i could get an almost frenched in look to the lights and not have to worry about melting, leaks etc...plus the added benefit of having a one of a kind set.

I'm getting kinda burnt out on the clear lens look anyway.

any thoughts? I'm thinking maybe a maltese cross pattern maybe one small for the turn signals and a larger one for the brakelight
