A mechanic would most likely call the cracks "heat checking." This is a fairly normal occurance on rotors. If your brake pads are not worn out, don't worry about these hairline cracks. When you change your pads, have the rotors turned and you will be fine. You only need to change your rotors if they are past the minimum thickness. The minimum thickness measurment is cast into the back of the rotor. Many owners are spending the money to replace their rotors when it may not be necessary. On the other hand, if you are still concerned, take your car to a good shop (like Les Schwab) and have the rotors checked.
