Just a thought . . . but is it possible that DC did not try to save money on the engine and they accomplished the savings by eliminating the more costly GT options on the chassis?
Is it possible that they wanted to offer an engine that runs better on regular gas thus it was detuned?
Is it possible that the 180 engine is exactly the same engine as the GT?
