If you can show me how Stage 1 improves torque steer - I'll buy you a beer.
My PT doesn't torque steer either. My GLH does, but it also has really low aspect tires - and chases grooves in pavement like you wouldn't believe. The equal-length halfshaft thing is only an issue if the half-shaft "winds up" - and if it doing that there are going to be durability issues. It used to be that every high powered front drive car had torque steer (several with equal length half-shafts), but now the chassis boffins have it sorted. Not sure which bit to point at for that, but SOMETHING is different these days.
