I am new here but wanted to chime in. I used a Viper oil filter on my 1998 Dodge Neon (DOHC). It has a larger diameter but the seals were the same. Is there a larger diameter filter for the Cruiser? I really don't want a taller filter.

Also, do any of guys use the valve or petcock in place of the drain plug? I saw it on a site (can't remember where). It cost about $20 or so. It sounds kind of neat but can it be accidentally opened from something hitting it (road debris)?
