PTGT Redman, When we installed mine we put it up in a lift. That was more for convenience than to keep the car level. I don't see any reason that they can't be done on ramps. The rear will be a PITA to get the nuts behind the flange on the twist axle and get the bolt started. I would recommend a 2nd person to help on the back to help hold the bar and get the nut behind the flange and get the bolt started. I taped the nut into an offset box end wrench to get it in behind and get the angle square enough to get the bolt started. On completion of the tightening had to encourage removal of the wrench with a hammer because as you tighten the bolt it draws the wrench into a position almost flat against the flange. Had to rap the wrench a couple of times to remove the wrench.
