New hood
At the RonJon Surf shop meet today in Cocoa Beach, FL, I saw a hand-laid fiberglass hood produced by a shop in Bradenton, FL (ramairhood.com) installed on a DreamcruiserII. It fit perfectly, was ramair from the front directly into the stock air box top (cut out to accept a Vette (I think) K&N. The rear of the hood vented (below the surface so the vents were not visible from above) to extract heated air. It really looked good, the owner said he could tell the difference in times at the track (he runs Stage I) and went for @$300.00. I will contact the shop Monday (I live 30 miles south in Venice, Florida) and let you know whhat I find. I'll also attempt to contact the owner of the DCII for pics, etc. Impressive.
DCII, AMX pipe and lots of dreams...........Stage II when and if it is available.
