My pillars look like new. I followed advice I saw on other threads. You can try clay to remove water spots and then apply a sealer. I use Gary's stuff. I also clean mine with detail spray to keep them nice. Gary also sells a paint cleaner that may work well to clean up the spots and finerprints.
