I used Meguiars Gold Class paste wax and the spots on mine came off easily. You can also try a 50/50 mix of vinegar and distilled water, or full strength vinegar. I bought some new door pillar posts and replaced my old ones, I'm painting the old ones the color of my car, Inferno Red. Will post pics when completed.
