Your's with the turbo looks a lot lower since you don't have the vanity cover. I may be wrong and it could be just the angle of your picture but it certainly looks lower than mine. Here's a closer pic and you can see the bar right up against the rubber compartment edge along the firewall.

You are right. My bar looks lower than yours. It's possible that the hood liner won't rub. I'd like to see if anyone else has a hood liner installed along with the BTG brace. Thanks for the info.
