Hi all,,, while I'm new to this forum, I'm not new to car forums. I had been on several Buick forum's. I had restored a 1970 Buick GS 455, top to bottom. It ran low 12's (like 12:09).
I now have an '03 PT GT and love it. I just hung the btg cat back on it and installed the Airaid intake. I can definetly feel the difference. I do have a mental problem with the additional weight the resonator puts on the cat and the flex joint. It just seems to be a LOT more than the stock pipe, and I'm concerned with the stress that it'll add and shorten the life of the flex joint.
For those who missed it, an article on the 2.4 turbo in Hot Rod in September 03 issue can be found here,,

It claims to be about the SRT-4, but they use the PT engine. It shows most of the changes in the block and engine parts. I saved it with powerpoint, plus I saved each photo individually.
