Punch, maybe this will be assistance to you...
Hope the picture (original installation) below helps.
Instead of arrows, the affected wires/hoses are outlined in green and blue. The "looms" installed on the wires outlined in green were completely removed. The blue outlines show the sections of wire/hose that were shortened to get them far enough away from the engine heat source to prevent any melting. The most severe heat in the engine bay seems to be in the area directly behind and to the right of the engine--
a real "melting pot"!!! 
Also, it goes without saying to make sure no part of any "loom" is touching the engine block or any metal tubing, etc., coming out from the block.
