It all depends on the wheel design. I have a set of 18x8" 35 offset Oettinger RE's(that i'll be selling!) made for VW applications, and they work perfect! No spacers required! The centerbore for the VW 5/100 fitments and PT/GT Cruisers is spec'd the same from tirerack.
