I was at church during the first half of the game. It was very cold with a little freezing rain. So between the game and the weather, not many folks showed up for church Sunday night. I ended up having to lead the singing. And I'm not very good at it.
We got home and my wife seemed interested in watching the rest of the game. We caught the halftime show and it was surprisingly good. That little Bruno Mars fellow can really put on a show. And while I usually like the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, I particularly didn't care for that "white boy" rap song they sang. I always skip over that song on my iPod. But overall, it was a good show.
After that, I noticed that the blue and green team easily finished beating the orange team while the orange team quarterback kept looking like he was going to cry. And I felt pretty bad for him. I'm not sure why they couldn't find a better team to play the blue and green team. Maybe it was like me leading singing at church. I guess nobody good was available so the orange team got picked at the last minute. Who knows? Sports are kind'a strange like that from what I hear.
After such a good halftime show, they should have just ended it there. I hope Bruno Mars ended up with the trophy. He deserved it most from what I could see.
